Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress who is best known for playing Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired between 2015 and present. In the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played the 13-year old Lebanese American young girl Jasira who is amidst a turbulent existence in the backdrop of the U.S. attack on Iraq in the Gulf War. The film was later picked as one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of Actors to Watch in 2007. The 2009 movie Crossing Over, in which she portrayed a strong female lead character named Taslima Jhangir has been nominated by Independent Spirit Award as the leading actress. As well as Lucky 7, she has performed as a character in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as in a variety of television guest roles.
