Katherine Victoria Litwack, known professionally as Kat Dennings, is an American actor. Dennings is best known for her role as Max Black on the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, and Darcy Lewis as Darcy Lewis. Dennings graduated from homeschooling at 14. Kat was initially slated for the lead role in Everwood and was later replaced by Nora Zehetner took her place. Dennings made her debut in the role of Max with Beth Behrs in the movie "2 Broke Girls". Katie Hoff is a 8x World Champion, 3x World Record Holder, Current American Record Holder and 2x Olympian at Athens Greece and Beijing China - where she earned three Olympic medals in swimming. In addition, the United States Olympic Committee has awarded her with the Sportsman of the Month honor twice in 2005 and 2007. Her name has been called the 'female Michael Phelps' and she's learned valuable lessons from the struggles of the past. Katie's career changed during 2014 when she began to prepare to compete in the Rio Olympic Games. Katie had been diagnosed as having Pulmonary Embolism in her left lung. The diagnosis put her off from working. Katie has since devoted herself to her work with the National Blood Clot Alliance. She's also an author who has written a million books and is an entrepreneur. This lets her connect with youngsters from around the globe.
